sunshine sunday.

as i'm sitting staring at my NEW COMFORTER {!} complements of my lovely mom and shabby chic collection {which I'm in love with} at Target...I was just thinking about how truly wonderful the wedding I went to yesterday afternoon was.

It was the best, most beautiful, but simple wedding! ahhhh. {not to mention the weather was picture perfect straight from angels looking down upon us} Words cannot do it justice, but here it goes:

Location: Winsted, MN {small town mn} on a beautiful family property situated on the only peninsula of the lake. gorgeous.

Decor: vintage inspired. handmade.

-mason jars equipped with candles {that automatically turned on when the sun set} hung from the branches of trees that formed a canopy over the isle of freshly cut green grass aligned with row of white chairs.

-9 barefoot clad bridesmaids dressed in a combination of 4 different dresses {via anthropologie & j. crew)...holding freshly cut wild flowers.

-9 suspender bound groomsmen draped in pin-stripe vintage-muted antique white-blue pants, button up soft blue collared shirts, and chocolate ties

-THE BRIDE {!} vintage inspired,...soft antique cream laced hippie-esque ....with touches of hand sewn cream and muted rose flowers on the bottom hem of the gown.......barefoot, flower embelished and old time hollywood curled hair. So beautiful.

-THE GROOM {!} khaki suit, but soft, not stuffy. chocolate brown tie.

- {to the right} underneath a very large whit tent: tables centered with 3-4 mason jars: 1-2 full of the same flowers the bridesmaids carried, 1 mason jar fitted simply with a single sunflower, 1 including a branch; the simple letters N & S hanging in the form of paper tags from it. all on top of a white table cloth draped with a single soft colored rectangle runner, sprinkled with random buttons as confetti.

- Apres the ceremony the rows of chairs were transferred to the tables, and a dance floor was placed atop the grass.

---grilled chicken and hamburgers, potatoes, vegetable mix, salad, and Homemade desert {!} ...the only kind of desert I like. pies {raspberry, rubarb-strawberry, blueberry}, crisp {peach & rubarb}; popcorn machine, rootbeer keg, candy bar.

--> -->however great all of the above was, what truly made the wedding so absolutely wonderful was the love that was conveyed by their families and friends, and for eachother! .....something anyone should aspire for.

**I'll post pictures when I receive them {forgetful me forgot to bring my own camera!! ugghh...so I shall wait to get the pictures others took} ...I did take some with my phone, but they just don't do it anything close to justice.

future.

sooo today I went on a run {for the first time in about a month} anyways, I decided some future endeavors I would like to strive for and obtain...

a. sometime in life I would love to sky dive.
b. someday I would love to say job description: CEO, mentor, friend.
c. I have always thought about taking over the family business....only time will tell!
d. I am going to take the GMAT, and take a crack at getting my MBA.
e. I am going to start {once again...as I did in highschool} an inspiration journal, which I'll most likely share on here too....this will probably be what I will achieve first on this list, but hey, a start is a start!
f. I am going to attempt to either draw, paint, or add a page in my inspiration journal everyday.

blue, white. and almost like new.

here's what my dresser looks like all re-finished by me...it was my first time ever re-finishing furniture let alone painting furniture! But I went for an antique blue; the handles are ones I have collected from anthropologie clearance. {don't mind the piles next to it...i was/am in the process of getting my room how i want it!}

art. art. art.

sharing a little article via NYTimes.

"Artists fortunately remind us that there’s in fact no single, correct way to look at any work of art, save for with an open mind and patience. If you have ever gone to a museum with a good artist you probably discovered that they don’t worry so much about what art history books or wall labels tell them is right or wrong, because they’re selfish consumers, freed to look by their own interests."--MICHAEL KIMMELMAN
